ScanPro 3500 machines are available in the Research Library and in the Somerville Reading Room. The ScanPro 3500 All-In-One serves as a reader, printer and scanner for research, as well as a conversion scanner for roll film, fiche, and jacketed fiche.

Overhead Scanners

The CZUR ET24 PRO scanner is an advanced intelligent scanner known for its exceptionally high scanning speed. It can automatically recognise and correct curved, misaligned, or soiled pages and can quickly convert scanned pages into various useful formats, including PDF, searchable PDF, TIFF, or text documents. We have six CZUR overhead scanners in the library and one available for use in the Somerville Reading Room.

Audiovisual equipment

We have a specialised dedicated audiovisual room for you to view videos, DVDs, cassettes and CDs from our collections or on inter-library loan.

Audio recordings from oral history collections are used in the Somerville Reading Room
