Festive season open hours
During the festive season the State Library will close:
- From 5pm on Tuesday 24 December
- Wednesday 25 December
- Thursday 26 December
- From 5pm on Tuesday 31 December
- Wednesday 1 January
State Library Cafe will be closed from Sunday 22 December 2024 and reopen on Monday 6 January 2025.

Venue closures
The State Library occasionally hosts or stages events, which sees some areas closed from time to time. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
The Mortlock Chamber will be unavailable on Monday 6 January 2025 for the removal of the Christmas tree.
